Join us for our Shabbat Starts Here Service featuring guest speaker Rev. David Fraccaro, the Executive Director of FaithAction International House. Rev. Fraccaro will speak about the predicted impact of the election on immigration policy, what steps we can take to advocate for immigrants in our community and what Temple Emanuel's role will be as a partner in the big new grant that FaithAction won for community projects over the next two years.
About Rev. Fraccaro:
Prior to coming to Greensboro, David worked as an immigration specialist with the Interfaith Youth Core in Chicago, educating students and faith communities throughout the United States on immigration issues. David has also worked for the National Council of Churches, and the Riverside Church in New York City as Coordinator for Sojourners Visitation Ministry with Detained Immigrants and Asylum Seekers, the group the inspired the independent movie, The Visitor.
