Write Your Story

Everyone has stories to tell about their lives. This course will help you explore them. By looking at published memoirs, using writing prompts, and exercising your memory and your creativity, this course will guide you to create a brief autobiographical tale.

Your goal may be exploring an aspect of your childhood or your adulthood, your working life or your family life, or your spiritual life. Maybe you would like to write a memoir as a gift to your children.  These six sessions with Rabbi Cohen, who holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree in writing, will help you create a brief essay about an important facet of your life, and through that process, you’ll also grow as a writer.
