TE Sisterhood's Winter Brunch and Program- Stretching Your Mind and Body: interesting speakers, great company and tasty food.

Hear from Tami Thurm, newly elected Greensboro City Councilwoman and Leslie Millsaps, Yoga Practitioner. RSVPs are required and the deadline for responding is Wednesday, January 24th,5PM. Please respond to Malinda Coleman at colemanmalinda@gmail.com We look forward to seeing you on the 28th.

We will hear from Leslie Millsaps, the president and co-conspirator with husband David at DLM Builders – a 25 year old Greensboro remodeling company. She has held numerous offices with Greensboro Builders Association and its Remodelers Council, and for the last four years been board member and Secretary with Preservation Greensboro Inc, and its related organization Preservation Greensboro Development Fund.

We will also hear from Tammi Thurm, newly elected City Council member for district 5, has lived in Greensboro for over 40 years. She has been a very active member of both the general and Jewish communities here. Her volunteer activities include being a member of the Greensboro Minimum Housing Commission, a Program Presenter for the Women's Resource Center, a Fellow, North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership, Treasurer, Triad Association of Legal Administrators, a Board Member of B'nai Shalom Day School and serving as Vice-President of the Greensboro Jewish federation. Tammi also worked as the Assistant Fire Captain for Robbins Research facilitating firewalking events on three continents, including a firewalk for the Greensboro Jewish Federation several years ago. Professionally, Tami has more that 30 years of experience in finance operations, human resources and management of privately owned family businesses. She is currently the Firm Administrator for Hagan Barrett & Langley PLLC.
