About the event

Please join us at 8:00 PM for havdalah, refreshments, and a screening of Netflix’s The Quilters. In this award-winning short documentary directed by Jennifer McShane, men in a Missouri maximum-security prison design and sew beautiful, personalized quilts for foster children. Reflecting on the themes of the documentary, we will have a chance for a discussion on the themes of the High Holy Days: return, renewal, and new beginnings.  Our Selichot service will follow at 9:45 PM with the changing of our Torah covers and prayers for the season.
