Friday, June 26, is the fifth anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Obergefell v. Hodges, which ruled that laws restricting same-sex marriage are unconstitutional.
Maital Guttman is the Head of Diversity and Inclusion, North America for McKinsey & company. She holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BA from Duke University, where she was a Robertson Scholar. She lives with her wife, two-year-old son and golden doodle in Atlanta.
As Head of Diversity and Inclusion, Maital works to create an environment that attracts, develops and retains exceptional women and diverse talent and a culture for all to be included and thrive. In her role, she co-founded The Alliance, a global summit for senior LGBTQ+ executives, as well as authoring research on the global experience of LGBTQ+ leaders. She has led workshops and spoken internally at McKinsey and externally at conferences and with clients on diversity and inclusion.
Previously, Maital served for 2 years as a consultant McKinsey & Company, where she focused on topics around economic development, innovation, strategy, culture, change management, and talent management. Prior to her consulting career, she founded a documentary film production company, Dewdrop Films, which produced and screened films around the world, including South Africa, Moldova, Israel, and the US.
