On November 1, 2025 our Temple community came together for Panim el Panim, a gathering of reflection, learning, and conversation where we processed what was on our hearts about the Middle East. We initiated important conversations, including intentional acts of listening, and experienced moments of feeling heard.
Join us on January 10, 2026 to continue the reflection and conversation. We will begin the evening by considering what Rabbi Hillel’s famous saying (quoted above) might teach us about this difficult moment in Jewish history. We will share our thoughts, concerns, and hopes about Israel and the Palestinian people as 2026 begins, and together consider possible paths forward for Panim el Panim programming at Temple.
