About The Event

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, B'nai Shalom Day School is collecting food for Backpack Beginnings.

To assist their service project, Temple Emanuel is holding a one-day food drive. Please bring canned or dried foods to Temple Emanuel's Jefferson Road parking lot on Sunday, January 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Your donations will be delivered to B'nai Shalom and combined with the food they have already collected for Backpack Beginnings.

Items Needed:

Spaghetti noodles, spaghetti sauce, rice (1 1b bag), canned beans, mac 'n' cheese, canned vegetables, canned fruits, canned tuna, individual packets of nut-free oatmeal, individual packets of nut-free cereals, and individual packets of nut-free snacks (can be pirates booty, pretzels and animal crackers).
