IRC Blanket & Yoga Mat Collection Drive

Did you know that every night in Greensboro, more than 900 people go to sleep homeless - in shelters, under bridges, in the woods, or in cars?

Our goal at Temple Emanuel is to help those in need during these challenging times. With your help, we have collected thousands of pounds of food for the Greensboro Urban Ministry (GUM) and the JFS food pantry and donated $2,500.00 to GUM.

That is why this month we are collecting warm blankets and yoga mats for the Interactive Resource Center's (IRC) White Flag Shelter Wishlist.

You can drop these items off at Temple during the week or at our Donut, Latkes, & IRC Drive event in the Temple Parking lot on Sunday, December 13, between 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

While you are here, pick up some latkes and donuts - food trucks will be on-site!
