This introductory class, taught by Dr. Karen Dresser, is designed for those who are looking to learn or re-learn the basics of our tradition. The core elements of Jewish beliefs, practices, and ethics will be covered in this survey course.
This course will be held in-person only from 7:00 - 8:30 PM on Wednesday evenings, October 12 for 18 weeks.
There are 18 classes planned between October 12 and March 1. Note that there are 3 weeks when there are no classes: November 23, December 21, and 28. (This schedule is subject to change.)
The cost is $75 per non-member; $35 for Temple members
There is an additional charge for the book used in this course: Judaisms by Aaron Tapper.
