About the event

The daily sounding of the shofar during the month of Elul is a symbolic call to pay attention – where are you on your journey as you prepare for Rosh Hashana 5781. This gentle, all-level yoga practice is an opportunity to prepare your mind and soul, through physical movement and breath awareness for the New Year and beyond.

Phyllis Kritz, E-RYT® 200, RYT 500, an active yoga practitioner for over 20 years, graduated from her first Yoga Teacher Training in 2008, completed the Yoga & Jewish Spirituality Teacher Training Institute in 2012, and received her 500-hour level YTT certificate through Inner Peace Yoga Therapy in 2016. Weekly, she streams live virtual classes from her Raleigh home studio, Neshamah Yoga. She looks forward to resuming other long-standing teaching passions, e.g. Yoga of 12-Step Recovery, Shabbat Yoga and others, G-d willing, post-pandemic.
