About the event
Temple members are invited to attend a virtual congregational meeting on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., for the purpose of electing Rabbi Guttman as Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Emanuel upon his retirement at the end of June. The meeting will be held on Zoom.
Article IX, Section D of our Bylaws reads:
Rabbi Emeritus. A Rabbi Emeritus may be elected for life by a majority of the members of the Temple present and voting at any special or annual meeting of the Temple called and noticed for that purpose, and the Rabbi Emeritus may (but shall not be required to) perform rabbinical functions for the Temple at the invitation of the Rabbi.
For our Temple friends, please understand that only adult members of Temple Emanuel can vote at this meeting.
