About the event

Karen Spira, a Spanish professor at Guilford College and Temple Emanuel Trustee, will lead this important discussion on Central American migration to the United States, with a focus on the experiences of unaccompanied minors.

This session is a text study. To participate, please read in advance journalist Sonia Nazario's 2006 book, Enrique's Journey, about a Honduran child's solo journey north. Nazario won two Pulitzers for the reporting that later became Enrique's Journey.
