Greensboro's annual gathering with uplifting prayers and music as we conclude Israel's Memorial Day (Yom HaZikaron) and transition into Israel's 73rd Independence Day (Yom HaAtzma'ut).  

This year's gathering will also feature remarks by Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner to North America at Israel Ministry of Tourism.  He will speak about an “Unexpected Israel – The change in perception about Israel and how it was lead by tourism, and what to expect in Israel after COVID"

About Eyal Carlin:

Eyal Carlin is the Commissioner of North America for the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Since August 2019, he has been responsible for maximizing tourism from Israel’s largest travel market, overseeing the ministry’s five government tourism offices on the continent, and directing activities in the areas of marketing, public relations, and business development.

Carlin joined the Ministry of Tourism in 2010 following a career in the Israeli Pharmaceutical and Hi-Tech industries. Prior to his appointment as commissioner, he served as Director of the Americas Department and Senior Director of the Overseas Department at IMOT headquarters in Jerusalem and director of the Southern US in Atlanta.

Carlin holds a BA in Economics and Philosophy (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Talmudic Studies and Hebrew Philology from Hebrew University.
