Greensboro Community Yom Ha'Shoah Service

Recorded on Wednesday, May 4, 2022

Below is the recording of this year's Greensboro Community Commemoration of Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day.  Join us as we remember the lives and heroism of the Jewish people who died in the Holocaust.

This year we were honored to feature personal reflections by Natasha Kobleva, a Kiev native who has called our area home for decades. The program was sponsored by Temple Emanuel, the Greensboro Jewish Federation, and Beth David Synagogue.

Temple Emanuel joined the National Council of Jewish Women in marking ReproShabbat on January 28th, 2022.

Rabbi Fisher's sermon focused on long-standing Jewish views on questions related to abortion and access to reproductive health care and choice.

This excerpt from services also includes a pre-taped background Q&A that Rabbi Koren conducted with Tara Romano from Pro-Choice North Carolina.

Even if you were at the service in person or previously saw it on a Temple digital platform, we encourage you to see it again and SHARE it with others within and beyond our community.
