About The Event

Temple Emanuel’s Sisterhood invites all current, past, and potential Sisterhood members to join us on Sunday, June 2, at 10:15 for a General Meeting, brunch, and time to learn about the different paths that we have all taken to arrive here today.

Our program will feature a discussion with Hannah Fernández-Kniseley, who will teach us about the Spanish Inquisition and the expulsion of 300,000 Jews from Spain in 1492. She will share how descendants of the inquisition kept their Judaism secret for over 500 years and the recent discovery that almost a quarter of Latinos and Hispanics have significant Jewish DNA.

To RSVP for this event, please email Erica Levy-Ringel (ericagail@gmail.com), Susan Ross (susanross1960@gmail.com), or Amy Gers (amy.gers@yahoo.com).
