Temple Emanuel Pre-School

Director: Janet Hiatt

Temple Emanuel Pre-School (TEPS) provides a “hands on” experience, in a Jewish environment, where the needs of each child are met as they grow and learn. In ways that are both appropriate and accessible, we bring family life, science and nature and other basic experiences into the curriculum. In addition, we explore aspects of Jewish culture and heritage, through songs, artwork and stories designed for young children.

The students range in age from two to five years. Starting in the Fall of 2008, school days will last from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with lunch brought from home.  Children attend classes three or five days a week depending on their age and space availability with an extended day option two days a week.

Applications are available for for the 2008-2009 school year.  Please call for a visit or an application.  TEPS is open to children from the community, whether or not their families are members of the Temple.
