At the Early Childhood Engagement Center at Temple Emanuel children learn through experience.  They touch, move, listen, see and hear.  These experiences allow children to construct knowledge in a variety of ways.ECEC logo

Our pre-school is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy.  This methodology has been studied and modeled world-wide.  Two key aspects of a Reggio Emilia program are building from what children already know and creating learning spaces that stimulate and incorporate natural elements.

Our preschoolers learn by doing.  They learn by playing, listening, touching, and tasting.  Children learn about math, science, literature, and the world around them.  Most of all, children at the Early Childhood Engagement Center learn about Judaism and how joyful it is!

We provide a nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and safe.  This fosters their confidence and self esteem.  It also allows the children to pursue their interests and grow.  We have three and five day options for pre-school.  For more information please contact Louise Van Schaack at (336) 292-7899 or LVanschaack@tegreensboro.org.
